Echo by ABNA Books Online Newsletter features writing about the challenges and triumphs of being a writer in today's world.
We seek quality essays, book reviews, and interviews about writers and their craft. We cannot afford to pay you
anything for your work, but you get the joy of being published on this site!

Submission Guidelines

  • Echo by ABNA Books is published quarterly.
  • Submissions should be single-spaced, 500-1000 words.
  • Please do not send queries. We will consider only completed columns and reviews.
  • Please embed your submission in the body of your email.
  • Authors retain rights. Please credit us if your work is republished.
  • Please let us know if you have sent this to another market.
  • Please include the word Submission and the Title of your column in the subject line.
  • We do not accept previously published works. We'd rather present you with fresh writing.
  • Please tell us which column you are writing for; the categories appear below.
  • Please provide us with contact information: Author's name, address, phone number, email, and web site (if applicable)
  • Please send only one submission at a time.
  • Standard response time from 3-12 weeks.

Read articles about the process of writing and revising a novel.
This includes talk about various components, themes, genres, and markets.
What’s the best way to create dialogue? Why choose a particular time period?
What does it mean to write chick lit? How does one approach a mystery?

How do you get inspired? Where does your creativity come from?


The Next Step:
So you’ve written a book, what happens next? Read about the many steps that you can take
beyond the crafting and revising of your manuscript: To whom will you send queries?
What publishing route will you take? How will you promote yourself as a writer?

Finding Balance:
As writers, many of us have other jobs inside and outside the home.
How do we reconcile these parts of our selves? How do we find time to write?
