"Did you think I would just stupidly jump between two strong beings like that? I know how terrifying Hecate is and on top of that we don’t even know about the level of your strength yet.
So instead of making demands it would be better for you to just hand her over and I’ll spare the life of your remaining family members," the beast king named Malgor spoke. Then he raised both of his arms and held his hair tightly in his grip.
Jayden watched him in rage as Malgor began to tear apart the skin and flesh, and from inside a body emerged. It was smaller at first as if it was just an organ inside Xerome’s body, but then it began to grow.
Xerome’s skin, blood, flesh, heart, and other organs fell onto the ground. Aside from the brain, they had taken away his entire body. Xerome must have gone through an unbeatable torture as they did so. The heart was still beating.
In vampires, if their heart is removed from their body, then it will disappear on its own after some time unless it is destroyed or consumed before that. The vampire will heal quickly, and they will soon have a new heart, but it is different here.
Since the heart was still beating like that, then that means they have somehow stopped Xerome from healing. Wherever he is, he is definitely in very bad shape.
Malgor’s original form still had a body structure similar to a human, but he looked more like a mannequin. His body was completely white and looked as if it was made of marble, and there was no face but circular patterns over both of his arms.
Seeing this, Jayden felt as if his head was about to explode. He was having trouble holding himself back, but he still needed to get some more info before fighting the beast king.
"Bring Xerome here, or I’ll kill her," Jayden said as he turned Eve into her jelly-like form and then held her tightly in his hand, the aura of death surrounding his body.
"N-No, please don’t hurt my daughter, I’ll do anything you want, just don’t hurt I- I... Save her pffftt Hahahahaha," Malgor laughed his heart out, then he spoke:
"My acting is better than yours, don’t you think so? Do you really think I’ll believe you? Do you think you can hurt her even a little bit?
Your hand is trembling, and I have Xerome’s memory, so I know how much you care about her. Now stop this bullshit and give her to me. Since you have taken such good care of her, I’ll leave you alive."
"Kieuu ?" Eve looked at Jayden with a tilt of her head. Jayden gritted his teeth and just put her back onto his arm.Before starting the fight, he decided to ask a few more things.
Malgor looked at the approaching small figure of Eve, and he raised one of his hands to catch her. A big twisted smile appeared over his expressionless face. He had achieved his first goal.
"I’ll spare you since you followed my advice," Malgor said as Eve appeared right in front of him.
*ROOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR*
*BANG*
In that instant, Eve’s body transformed into the Nemean Lion form, releasing a loud roar. She waved her claws towards Malgor, slicing at his face. He was taken by surprise, but this attack was nowhere enough to hurt him even a little.
"Hahahaha, is that your plan? That’s pretty lame," Malgor laughed as he took a step back and looked at Eve’s gigantic form. He was impressed by this display, and his wish to bring her back with him deepened.
Jayden’s body flashed as he suddenly appeared in front of Malgor, but he didn’t seem surprised by Jayden’s teleportation skill since he already possessed Xerome’s memories.
Without paying attention to Malgor’s words, Jayden threw a punch towards the beast’s face. His fist tore through the air as lightning sparkled.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
In an instant, the fist collided with Malgor’s head before he could even dodge it. His body was thrown several hundreds of meters away. Jayden took Eve back and appeared in front of Malgor. Find more to read at novelhall.Côm
"Ouch, that... wasn’t so bad," Malgor said as he stood up. A bump could be seen on his expressionless head, but within seconds he was back to normal.
