"What, you still don't dare to admit it?" the woman asked, raising her eyebrows.

"What's there to be afraid of? I admit it. All that talk about reporting work is nonsense. I came here just to spy on you," Qin Xiaochuan could only say helplessly.

"At least you have some backbone." The woman smiled and took the opportunity to pinch Qin Xiaochuan's arm. "So what did you see?"

"They say you're having an affair with Zhang Tao." Qin Xiaochuan suddenly recalled the scene of overhearing Lao Kong and Zhang Tao talking outside the base, and said it for no reason.

"Bullshit! Who's gossiping behind my back? I wouldn't even look at him," the woman said, a little angry.

"I was just thinking of going for a walk too, how about we go together?" The woman said, moving closer to him, her hand that was holding his arm slowly sliding down to his back.

Qin Xiaochuan felt his whole body tense up, and beads of sweat began to appear on his forehead.

"You seem very hot, you're sweating." The woman chuckled, then reached out to wipe the sweat from his forehead, a strong scent of perfume wafting into Qin Xiaochuan's nose.

"This woman must be seriously ill," Qin Xiaochuan couldn't help but complain in his heart. If he didn't get rid of this woman quickly, he would have no chance to leave this place. If he waited for the real body outside the camp to wake up, his troubles would be even greater.

Several thoughts flashed through his mind, and Qin Xiaochuan finally made up his mind. He suddenly turned around, grabbed the woman's wrist as she was wiping his sweat, and looked at her seriously.

"Really?" A hint of joy flashed in the woman's eyes, and then she said impatiently, "Why wait a couple of days? Can't we make a date tonight?" As she spoke, she gently placed her other hand on Qin Xiaochuan's chest.

"Uh, I've already made plans to drink with Zhang Tao tonight, and I really can't refuse. I'll wait a couple more days, it won't be too long," Qin Xiaochuan said helplessly.

"Hmph." The woman gave him a reproachful look, and finally said, "I'll let you off this time."

"Then I'll be going now." Qin Xiaochuan felt as if he had been granted a pardon, let go of the woman's arm, and prepared to leave.

"Feed." The woman suddenly grabbed his arm again and asked, "Aren't you going to say goodbye before you leave?"

"What does that mean?" Qin Xiaochuan asked in a panic.

"What do you think?" the woman said provocatively, turning her head slightly to face Qin Xiaochuan with her fuller left cheek.

Qin Xiaochuan felt as if he had fallen into an abyss, and could only force himself to remain calm, awkwardly saying, "No need, is that necessary?"

"What do you think?" The woman glared at him fiercely, then closed her eyes.

"Gulp." Qin Xiaochuan swallowed again, his mind completely blank.

Are you kidding me? This was my first kiss!

"Old Kong, Yilin, what are you two doing standing here?" Just as Qin Xiaochuan was wondering what to do, a voice suddenly appeared beside him.

Qin Xiaochuan glanced to the side and discovered it was someone he knew—Lei Gang, whom he had met in Kunlun Ruins. It was truly a case of enemies meeting on a narrow road.

"What's it to you!" Irene glared at Lei Gang angrily, then turned and walked into a tent.

"What's wrong with her?" Lei Gang asked Qin Xiaochuan with a puzzled look.

"What's it to you!" Qin Xiaochuan replied in the same tone as Yilin, then secretly delighted and quickly walked out of the camp, leaving Lei Gang standing there completely bewildered.

Qin Xiaochuan walked out of the camp in one breath before daring to stop and catch his breath.

"That was terrifying," he muttered to himself. "Thank goodness Lei Gang came to the rescue."

After calming himself down, he went to the person he had knocked unconscious. After returning his combat suit to the person, Qin Xiaochuan went back to the place where he had parted ways with Han Kexin and the others.

When he finally found Han Kexin, he discovered the three of them sitting on a rock eating. His stomach immediately rumbled, and he realized that he hadn't even had lunch since arriving on the island.

"You guys are going too far. I'm risking my life over there to gather intelligence, and you guys are eating delicious food here." Qin Xiaochuan complained. As he approached the three of them, Guo Shiyi handed him a box of sushi.

"Hehe, thanks." Qin Xiaochuan immediately changed his expression.

"Didn't I say there wouldn't be any danger to your life?" Han Kexin naturally ignored his complaint, turned to glance at him, and asked, "Did you get the intelligence?"

Qin Xiaochuan said proudly, "Of course, I personally took charge, how could..."

"Let's get straight to the point. What is their purpose in coming here?" Han Kexin interrupted him directly.

"Cough cough." Qin Xiaochuan seemed to choke for a moment, then gave Han Kexin a reproachful look. "Could you please stop interrupting others all the time?"

"Who told you to talk so much nonsense?" Han Kexin retorted sharply, displaying her sharp tongue.

Upon hearing this, Qin Xiaochuan wasn't angry. Instead, he suddenly recalled the first time he met Han Kexin and couldn't help but chuckle.

"What are you laughing at?" Han Kexin looked at him, puzzled.

"It's nothing." Qin Xiaochuan suppressed his smile and shook his head.

"Is it hot today? Why are you sweating so much after just one trip?" Han Kexin asked, frowning. She had already noticed Qin Xiaochuan's sweat-soaked shirt and the hair sticking to his forehead.

"N-nothing...it's nothing." Qin Xiaochuan looked guilty, which drew even more suspicion from Han Kexin.

"I just ran into an acquaintance, and things took a little twist," Qin Xiaochuan said helplessly. He then recounted everything he had seen and heard at the camp, though he was too embarrassed to mention the flirtatious things Yilin had said to him.

After saying that, he picked up a piece of sushi from the sushi box and stuffed it into his mouth. After talking so much, he felt even hungrier. He only chewed the sushi a few times before swallowing it impatiently.

"That important hostage must be Zhu Yihu. It's hard for anyone else to have such a big influence," Han Kexin analyzed with a frown. "I remember when I met Lei Gang last time, he said that a few months ago they had captured a powerful blood witch. I think he was probably talking about Zhu Yihu."

Qin Xiaochuan nodded and said, "That's what I think too." He then picked up the second sushi.

"What are your plans for the future?" Han Kexin asked.

Qin Xiaochuan swallowed the sushi in his mouth, but before he could fully chew it, he choked and his eyes rolled back. Seeing this, Guo Shiyi quickly handed him a bottle of water from the side.

Qin Xiaochuan took a sip of water before he felt better. He gave an awkward laugh before saying seriously, "I think we should find those blood witches before they act and stop them from rescuing Zhu Yihu."
