"Shiyi, it's your birthday today, isn't your dad coming?" Han Kexin suddenly asked from the side.

Hearing this, Guo Shiyi's face fell, and she said, "He said he was busy, so he asked someone to send me a birthday present, and he won't be coming over himself."

"Since he gave you a gift, it means your uncle still cares about you," Qin Xiaochuan comforted her from the side, while signaling to Han Kexin with his eyes to change the subject.

Although he knew Guo Shiyi was just trying to appease a child, Qin Xiaochuan still felt secretly pleased, but he nonchalantly said, "I'm just a bystander eating cake."

After overhearing Han Kexin and Guo Shiyi's conversation, Jiang Qingxue frowned slightly and glanced at Han Kexin. However, the other woman remained composed, her expression a mix of a smile and coldness, making it difficult to discern her true thoughts. After a moment's thought, Jiang Qingxue looked at Han Kexin and asked, "Kexin, from what you're saying, you seem to know a lot about Shiyi's father?"
